Here it is...the red that was supposed to be (according to the box) dark brown with reddish tones and is actually bright red (brighter in person) with brownish undertones:
First of all--I'm a little late, sorry, but--I LOVE the cut!
And, second, I don't think he color is bad at all! Maybe what you see isn't what is coming off on film, but it really looks pretty on my monitor--Promise! :-)
I have to tell you, once I dyed my hair a color called "Brilliant Bordeaux" (or something like that). It turned out pretty purple-y, but I liked it pretty well. I had short hair, so it just made it a little funky. The best part was when a manager where I worked said something like, "Oh, I dyed my hair once, and it came out badly - but not like yours..." To which I responded, "Um, I dyed it this color ON PURPOSE!" I don't think that particular manager ever commented on my appearance ever again.
L-O-V-E IT!! I love all the reds. I do mine the reddish-purplish every fall/winter!! In fact, I'm about to go have my SIL color and cut it!! The last time she gave me a red it was awesome!! It looks great on you!!!!
Looks great!! both cut & colour...I am not so brave as to do it myself, but recently became friends with a hairdresser, so she does my cut & colour for a great price & at her house, so I can leave my kids with hubby & relax.
