Didn't you know?

I actually just discovered them myself, this afternoon.

I was making an impassioned speech on the telephone as I was serving up dinner

when I knocked a glass out of the cupboard.

The glass landed on a dinner plate

(full of food)

and smashed the plate to smithereens while simultaneously turning the house

completely pitch black.

Somehow--by some strange stroke of weird timing--the

INSTANT

I broke the plate, our electricity went out.

Weird.
