8 Months Of Ezra; Update

We were away when Ezra turned 8 months old.

Holy cow!! I can't believe it could be true!

*My precious Ezra-boy is still as happy as can be! His smile is a mega-watt beacon of joy! His top teeth came in during vacation and now he has four teeth! I love the gummy smile stage and will miss it--but I'm so thankful he's healthy and growing and getting big (even if it's a little sad).

*Ezra gets around these days with a combination of crawling, pulling, army crawling and rolling--but most recently this week favors the army crawl the most! I've never had a baby that crawled this way--it's cute =)

*He does NOT sleep through the night. Only *twice* in 8 months IT has happened. I'm fine with that. Mostly. My girls never really slept through the night until they were 1.....which, is right around the corner for Ezra so we'll see. Usually he only gets up once between Midnight and 6 and usually he only gets up once between 7 and midnight. So 1 + 1 = 2. Got it? Ha! 

(It's impossible to type a cohesive thought when Maeve is standing next to me in low mono-tone saying mommymommymoooooommmmmmyyyyyymommymommymommmy. What do you want Maeve? HI Mommy! Then she runs away. All day this is my life. =)

*Ezra loves his big boy food! His favorites are green beans and peas. He tolerates apples, pears and carrots. He hates bananas. He loves rice cereal.

*And just for the sake of *the record* the new teeth temporarily threw off his latch. Dis. Like. Mostly back to normal. I'm sure I'm not the only one--but when my babies get teeth I feel like I'm playing Russian Roulette every time he goes to feed. Eh.

*Over the past week has has figured out how to get himself IN and OUT of a sitting position on his own!


That's all I can think of for now! He's a most excellent little addition to our family! We love him so much! Happy 8 months Ezra-Boy!!
