Food. It's What's For Dinner.

Today I made...Scrumptious Pot Roast

Garlic Mashed Potatos (a.k.a. the BEST taters in the WORLD) topped with Fried Onion Straws

And home-made bread, kneaded by my own and a pair of toddler hands

Ahh....Now what's for desert?

Seriously! You are like super mom. I'm jealous. Don't tell Al that people actually eat like that. I have him all used to grilled chicken and rice... none of that fancy trimmings type stuff. ;)

i think grilled chicken and rice sounds delicious--i think that ought to be dinner tomorrow. and i'm not always so inspired to cook--it was an "on" day. believe me, i don't post pictures of every meal for a reason =)

Michelle! MMMMMMMM! I found Pioneer Woman, too, after CFHusband won the award--I tooled around the award sites and was amazed at hers! Let me tell you that I had been salivatin' over those onion fries since and your post to remind me of my longing did NOT help! You pushed me over the edge, so yesterday I had to try them. OH SO GOOD! I'm wiping the drool off my computer keys now just re-thinking about them. OH SO GOOD! Thanks for sharing! I didn't make the fancy meal like you had, but just the fries. Yours looks FABULOUS! :) Happy Wednesday!
