So do you use NFP?

hmmmm, boy did she have a strong opinion.....the thing is she didn't really provide any reason for why using the pill kills babies.....I have heard research "stretched" both ways.....and to be honest its hard to know for sure because everyone has an opinion so they only share the research that compliments their opinion....hmmmm, I won't share my thoughts....but interesting none the less...On a "funny" note, everyone that I know that used NFP got pregnant when "not trying" one friend had 3 babies in 3.5 years!

certain high dose (higher estrogen) pills aren't as likely to cause early abortion but i'm not willing to take that chance to be honest. not to mention the fact that the pill also increases your chances of: blood clots, heart attack, stroke, gallbladder problems, tumors and breast cancer. and to all that i say, no thank you! (not that you'll see me with 15 kids either, just sayin' maybe there are, in my opinion, safer ways to control getting pregnant).

Interesting stuff - thanks for sharing. I agree, there are definitely other options to avoid getting pregnant.

Touchy subject...with my big mouth I don't think I'll go there.

Michelle,
I thank you for bringing this subject up. And although my opinion is different than yours, I completely respect yours. I also have to admit that a "good" discussion is always up my alley. I was never much of a Pill user myself as I didn't like the side effects and NFP requires Too much effort on my part, we used barrier methods until we decided we were done having kids and my husband stepped up and got "fixed". That said, I know many people that do other things and I very much enjoy hearing from every angle.

So, thanks for sharing:)

meh, the science seems weak behind that one. But then again, I'm a secular pro-choice mom, so this probably isn't the discussion I want to get into, and science probably has little to do with it.
