I saw this on Brittany's blog this morning, and could not agree more with her synopsis of this vaccine. I, too, DO vaccinate my children--but we won't be going anywhere NEAR the H1N1 vaccine.
My husband works as an eletrician at our local hospital, and he is required to take this vaccine. His first dose was last week, and it made him instantly bust out with evil flu symptoms. So horrible. And then? The hospital made everyone sign a waiver that says they took the vax voluntarily. Er.
No one in my household will be getting this one!! Even the nurse @ my doc's office said it hasn't been tested, so we have no idea of the side effects. While this virus is scary, it is more hyped up than anything!! My niece had it and recovered just fine. It just hits a bit harder than the regular flu. As long as you go to the doc's when you start with the symptoms, which with our children [all of us] we do.
