When The Grass Starts A-Growin' The Lawn Needs A-Mowin'

I was watching Martha Stewart today during nap (I don't usually watch b/c I usually *sleep* but as I am waiting for the swingsetmen to disappear I am napless =) and she showcased the coolest little lawn mower!
It's by the scissor people--Fiskars. I think a push/non-gas mower would be such a great way to go! Has anyone out there used one before? We do have a "mower" and I put that in quotes because it is a)old b)scary c)of questionable safeness as it has no off switch and has to be grounded out to be shut off. nice. =)
I'd probably lose a toe using it though. I'm not the most graceful girl =)

we have one and we like ours. it cuts nice, no lines. plus, i can use it. i can never turn on lawnmowers so this works good for me :) if you let the grass get too long, it can be harder to push but other than that it's great!

When Dad and I got married, that's what we used! I think they're great: no gasoline, no cranking, no stalling (unless you yourself want to stall!).

You could always let Amelie use it if you're afraid. :)

How cool! Totally adding it to my wish list. A workout without the fumes, love it.

Well, I don't know how this one is on rough terrain, but I know the "old fashioned" mowers like that are next to impossible to use in a bumpy yard. If your yard is small and fairly level, you should be good. If your yard is like mine (pretty big and full of moles), probably not so much.

It IS cute though!
