I...

...was going to write a complain-y blog but have decided instead to just state for the general record that I am:
Thankful.
Warm.
Well-fed.
Mostly well-rested.
Hot showered.
Happy.
Surrounded by Love.
Mother of two of the sweetest girls with the cutest dresses ever.
Wife to a man who loves me and works hard for everything we have.
Daughter of the King.
Sinner saved by grace.
That is all.

Isn't it nice when we rethink the complain-y type posts, and really think, before we even start typing or hit "publish"? ~ I've done that many times... written a post complaining about something, or someone, then have thought about how truly blessed I really am for the things that I have, and it's changed my outlook. I like to complain about these things ~ money is tight, my marriage isn't always happily wonderful, my kid is going through the terrible twos (for over 6 months now) I don't have as much money as I'd like, and we have medical bills out the wazoo, BUT when I stop and think about it, we really are TRULY blessed. When I think about how much others DON'T have, and how much I DO.... I really can't complain. God has blessed me in amazing, wonderful ways, and I am really greatful for all He has given to me. Things could be so much worse, and there is NO WAY I should utter an ounce of complain about my life, ever.

Great attitude--and I'm glad for the change of topic.

"This is the day that the Lord has made; I will rejoice and be glad in it."

I forget that so, so often.

Thanks for this reminder TODAY to be grateful!!

Hot showered?

Seriously? You have other options. Sure, a hot shower is niiiice, but you could just take a warmish shower. Or a cold shower extra fast. You could do a cool shower and keep your robe on. It's not like you don't have options.

It does get easy to forget how good we really do have it sometimes...

Thanks for the gentle reminder!
