**SCORE** One for the Mama

I just found out that there is **FREE** preschool a few days a week for a short time during the fall and spring! Woot! I thought A might enjoy going somewhere for some slightly structured type learning but our town doesn't have traditional preschool and my husband's school doesn't have free preschool so I was beyond excited when I found out about this! I looked around at different preschools and they were all 2 or 3 hours a day and I just wasn't ready to lose out on my big-girl's company for that much time each day. Our town's highschool teaches a child development class where they take care of 3 - 5 yo kiddos as their class work! I think A will love it--especially if some of her little friends join! Yay! Just thought I'd share =)

Many years ago, all three of my children went to a high school child development preschool. It was one of the best things we ever did. I also wanted to be with my pre-schoolers as much as possible. The high school program was perfect. It gave us just enough of a break from each other. Not only that, the kids got basically one on one attention as there were as many highschoolers in the program as preschoolers. The highschoolers were eager to try things, so the crafts, music, activities, even field trips were excellent. Hoepfully your program will be as wonderful! We have wonderful memories from the program.

This will be our 4th year at our local high school. It has been great! The funny part is, when Husband and I are out with the kids, there are always teenagers coming up and saying hi to them:) It is very cute and the high schoolers have always been very nice and polite, and the kids like that the older kids will say hi to them:)
