I'm praying that God will show you the way He wants you to go with Amelie's schooling. We're having our own school battle right now. It's not the money issue (thanks to my parents), it's the offending the current babysitter issue! I did a post about it, too. Check it out and give me your opinion! Everything will work out... I love Jeremiah 29:11! God has A's schooling for next year already planned out. If she's meant to go to the school you want, finances will work out. If she's meant to go to the other place, He will provide a rockstar teacher for her! It'll be fine!! :o)
I know you have heard a hundred different opinions already - but you may want to try homeschool first if money is an issue - especially with the economy right now. We use ABeka and my wife loved the K4 program (half day schedule). I'll be honest, homeschool is not for everyone. You will need self motivation and the ability to maintain a structure and schedule so A will know what to expect each day. With your education background I am sure you can handle it :) But you will also need to consider your little one and what she will be doing while you are working with A. Most of all - you and your husband need to be in complete agreement with each other no matter what you choose. We will keep you in our prayers!
