We finally finally became brave enough to put Amelie and Maeve in the same room, at night, this weekend.
(it's hard to mess with a good thing and two soundly sleeping children--even if one of said children is in your room sleeping in her Princess tent =)
Maeve had moved to Amelie's room and Amelie had moved out while Maeve became accustomed to her new digs.
Well, we finally gave Amelie the boot Saturday night
(much to her chagrin...um, chagrin? when's the last time you heard that in a sentence, ha!).
It's gone ok...--Maeve has woken up both nights that Amelie has been sleeping with her but I think that's due more to the remnants of the cold she has and the fact that she is getting two more teeth, poor little lamb!
The pack and play has been in our room for 14 months and was just packed up
(with a little tear, I must admit)
(with a little tear, I must admit)
and set up on the top shelf with future hopes.
Things are changing all the time.

Well, now that you and Mr. W will have a little privacy...I'm just sayin'!
Congrats on getting both girls in the same room. They'll do great, I'm sure!
good for you! i was so nervous when we put the boys together! caleb was about 8 months old when we finally did. are you planning on them napping together too? sammy and caleb share a room at night and it works fine although they talk for a while before going to sleep. but naps make me so nervous! i still put caleb in a pack&play in our room, but i'd love to have my room back during naps for doing laundry and such. you're so brave!
i'm a big chicken and was/am terrified about having the girls together--i really really love my sleep! A LOT!!! they still go to bed at different times which is the most challenging part--i was hoping that their schedules would start to sync up soon but that hasn't happened yet. they still sleep seperately for naps--amelie sleeps much more soundly in my bed (and LONGER) which is just fine by me! they'll probably never nap together--b/c by the time their nap schedules are the same amelie will probably be in school =) ha!
