Do you ever get those totally awesome passive aggressive ill-informed anonymous comments? Oh man, I like totally live for passive aggressive ill-informed anonymous comments!
This one's for "Carolyn"
(if that is your real name har har...)
whose comment didn't make the cut mostly because it was written by someone who didn't really try to understand what I was saying and also because it annoyed me.
(I am all-powerful on my blog...tee hee...well, all powerful until blogger won't upload my pictures or accept my template or ...anyway)
I do not ascribe to this theory (You know my theory--Liberal with a Capital Left and all) but I might possibly share living space with someone who does.
What do you think?
Disclaimer*****The ultra-sensitive bleeding heart liberal type or even the regular every day totally normal Democrat type probably shouldn't click on that link cause you're just gonna write me annoying comments that I'm not going to publish.*******

Ande and I have joked a bit about that particular topic - (I know, a weird topic to joke about, eh? We're weird people).
B.O. can't possibly be the Anti-Christ, for a number of reasons. But, depending on what he does while he's in office, he COULD be a "test run" - we've had them all throughout history.
I'd be interested to know what "Caroline" had to say - you've peaked my interest.
guess "carolyn" didn't like my anti-christ comment either.
well, i guess as far as b.o. being the anti-christ? who knows! i mean, someone has to be :)
she said something along the lines of...if i don't call BO "his high holy majesty" and thoroughly respect everything about him then i can't possibly love Jesus. or something silly like that
oh for crying out loud.
carolyn (which is her real name) wants shelly (which isn't my real name) to tell you that i exaggerate wildly.
(i'm a little dramatic--what can i say?)
and that it's inappropriate to call a president elect by anything other than their name
(which i am technically doing when i call him B.O.--his mama gave him those initials--not me).
{i'm sure no one has ever coined a nick name for g. bush!}
and you can't dislike b.o. and love Jesus.
i'll update ya'll if there's any more pertinent information that comes my way...i'm dependable like that.
Oh! I love when comments come with "lol" at the end. THAT is like the cherry on the Passive Aggressive sundae.
My favorite is how people who are completely offended at anyone who mentions the similarities between the anti-you-know-what and B.O. are the same people who are calling him our "Savior" and "The One". Of course, they can't name one thing that we will do to save us. If that was possible, it would have already been done by another president. Do you really think he is going to magically fix our country just because he is somehow 'more special' than someone else? If you believe that, then you have made him your anti-you-know-what.

That is only some people. I believe he is a good leader, smart, serene, with good critical thinking skills and a global understanding of American and worldly issues and their interconnectedness.
I think it's silly to call him The Antichrist or The Messiah. I don't believe in God, I just think he is a good leader. Much to prove still, but why don't you give him a chance? It seems you're not willing to even allow yourselves to change your minds, even if he did do a good job.
Everyone is entitled to their opinions, but I would hope everyone would be willing to be more open and constructively critical.

Julie-I will pray for the man b/c he is leading my country--but what does it matter if i give BO a chance? he has a chance--we'll see how he does, won't we? as for constructive criticism? um...excuse me mr. president elect--maybe you could do me a favor and not approve of baby killing--i mean, take your time to think about it...the budget is def. so much more important...
yeah..i don't think so.
oh yeah---julie, i forgot to say--it's ok if you don't believe in God--He believes in you!
"every knee shall bow...every tongue confess..."
Get out your history books, all you B.O. folks. In the 1960's and in the 1930's we had a democratic majority in this country - just like now. It wasn't good. Moreover, it's a known fact that liberal Dems strive for big government and high taxes. That's not the kind of leadership I want. And like Shelly said, he has his chance. Let's watch. Oh, and pray... to God, the only ONE.
