Kids Say The Darndest Things (Only At Applebees Apparently)

We were sitting down for half price appetizers at Applebees (WOOT!) and Amelie came up with a couple of doozies (i don't think that this is a real word =) that made me practically fall off my bench seat:
Amelie says, "Sometimes I cry out to God to bring me some candy!"
Amelie says, "Sometimes poop comes out hard."
Wow. The end.

I know, Amelie, I know. Sometimes I cry out to God for coffee. Except He likes me to be patient.

My Jack would say, "Patient like when we wait for the garbage truck."

The other day, Puckey told me she wanted to have a big butt like me.

Ah...the brutal honesty of children.

I tend to cry out for chocolate more than candy, but in a pinch, candy will do. (hence the big butt)

Apparently, She has life COMPLETELY figured out....she is such a genius and if she can remember to keep crying out to God when she needs (or wants) something, she will have a wonderful life! I can't stop laughing at this girl!

What an amazing young lady. Madre, you are so right! Crying out to God is the way to go in this life. I can't get enough of my grandchildren!
